Olbia is close to the Costa Smeralda. Only few kilometres away are the most marvellous beaches of Sardinia's North-East coast: Pittulongu (2 km) and Saline (3 km). Slightly further away are the exclusive beaches Marinella, Bados, Sos Aranzos, Porto Istana and many other splendid small bays and coves.

Olbia is also famous for its shopping centres, nightlife, restaurants and the many pre-historical sites around the town and Arzachena (20 km). You can also explore the Limbara Mountains (25 km) and Lake Liscia (20 km).
